Bite Investments Names Four New Strategic Hires to its Executive Management Team

Bite Investments, international Alternative Investments and technology firm, recently announced that it has made four significant hires to support its growth. Bite’s mission is to broaden access to the alternative investment ecosystem by leveraging its technology platform.

Effective April 25th, Justin Mason will be named Global Head of Asset and Wealth Management Sales. Justin came to Bite from Blackstone’s subsidiary, La Trobe Financial (which was recently sold to Brookfield Asset Management in March 2022), where he was in charge of client partnerships throughout the wealth management industry. Justin has a 20+ year career in which he has held numerous senior management positions in North America, Europe, and Asia, concentrating on the development of sales and business development projects. Justin began his career in 1998 at Lehman Brothers, where he worked for several years on their Pan European Equity Sales team.

According to Justin Mason, bite has a distinct business model and brand value for investors. Demand for alternative investments is increasing dramatically. He is thrilled to be joining Bite’s leadership team and contributing to the company’s mission of making alternative investments more accessible to a broader audience.

Matthew Purcell has been appointed Finance Director at Bite. Matthew started his career in structured finance at Barclays Capital, where he worked in financial and business management positions before moving on to senior finance roles in several fast-growing technology and Fintech firms. Matthew previously graduated from Oxford University with a first-class degree in physics and is a qualified Corporate Treasurer with KPMG. In addition, he has a second degree in computer science.

Bite has appointed Alex Seymour as Chief Legal Officer. He has 20 years of financial services experience and came to Bite from JP Morgan Chase Bank, where he was Head of Transaction Management, EMEA & APAC, Real Estate Finance. He earned an MA in Law from Oxford University before working for Clifford Chance.

Bite’s new Chief Information Officer is Tom Hamilton. Tom has a 30-year career in which he held senior leadership positions and worked in various information technology roles for a diverse range of blue-chip organizations, including JPMorgan, Deutsche Bank, ABN Amro, BP, BJSS, GPG, and Ernst & Young.
