LambdaTest, a US-based app, and browser Testing platform, recently revealed that it had secured $45 million in a venture round led by Premji Invest.

Existing investors Sequoia Capital India, Telstra Ventures, Blume Ventures, and Leo Capital also participated in the round. Sandeep Johri, the former CEO of software testing platform Tricentis, was also a participant in this round.

The funds will be used to improve product innovation and capabilities throughout the company’s entire product portfolio. LambdaTest is also seeking people in a variety of jobs and locations. Sequoia Capital India, Telstra Ventures, Leo Capital Holdings, Blume Ventures, and others have already invested in LambdaTest for a total of $25 million.

LambdaTest, which was founded in 2017, allows customers to execute manual and automated tests of online and mobile apps in over 3,000 distinct browsers, browser versions, and operating system conditions.

Cross-browser manual, cross-browser automation, native app testing, real device testing, visual testing, HyperTest, and Test at Scale are among the company’s six product lines. HyperTest, the company’s newest product, is a next-generation smart testing platform that enables businesses to execute end-to-end tests as quickly as feasible.

The test intelligence platform Test-at-Scale will be available soon. It is currently in beta testing. They are continuously improving the skills of their core execution platform, remarked Asad Khan, Co-Founder of LambdaTest.  Since its inception, the firm says to run over 100 million tests on its platform.

This round of funding will allow them to continue innovating and expanding their business. Khan stated that they are on a quest to establish the greatest test execution framework for the developer and tester community.

BrowserStack, a web, mobile, and cross-browser testing platform, acquired $200 million in June of last year, backed by famous Silicon Valley investor Mary Meeker’s Bond Capital and valued at $4 billion.

Postman, an API testing and collaboration tool, raised $225 million in a new fundraising round headed by current investor Insight Partners later in August, valuing the company at $5.6 billion.
