Binny Bansal, Co-Founder of xto10x Technologies, Leads a $25 Million Fundraising Round

Binny Bansal, a Co-Founder of Flipkart, has led a new $25 million investment round in his own firm, xto10x Technologies, which is a scaling platform for growth-stage companies, according to a statement released by the firm on Wednesday.

Swiggy Co-Founder Harsha Majety, Meesho Co-Founder Vidit Aatrey, Razorpay Founders Harshil Mathur and Shashank Kumar, and Cred Founder Kunal Shah were among the 28 entrepreneurs and executives who participated in the investment round from India and Southeast Asia.

According to the business, the cash will be used to expand learning programs, software tools, and operational skills, which will enable growth-stage startups to speed their growth.

Doing deep operational work with companies and translating that expertise into software tools and learning curricula enabled them to generate a strong momentum, resulting in four-fold growth in the last year.  In fact, xto10x Technologies is already profitable, said Saikiran Krishnamurthy, Co-Founder of the company.

xto10x Technologies was founded by Bansal and his former Flipkart employees Krishnamurthy and Neeraj Aggarwal in 2018. He is currently the firm’s executive chairman.

They want to keep their platform investor-agnostic because they deal with most of the investors in the Indian ecosystem and handhold their entrepreneurs.  They are still in the early stages of the business, so there’s a lot of experimentation ahead of them. For the time being, they will attempt to enjoy the independence to the extent that they can, Krishnamurthy said when asked why the company has not sought institutional investment.

The company is currently concentrating on scaling its employee NPS tool, which aids senior management in startups in engaging and motivating key employees, as well as driving feedback and performance awards. Over 70 startups have signed up for the NPS tool, according to xto10x Technologies. It intends to raise this to 350 in the near future.

xto10x bought Dockabl, a SaaS-based HR-tech business, last year to enhance its employee experience and NPS platform. In India and Southeast Asia, xto10x claims to have worked with over 200 growth-stage firms. Currently, the Indian market accounts for over 85% of the company’s income.
