The official release from Sondrel declares that it has collaborated with the Synopsys Fusion DesignTM and Verification Continuum® platforms to amplify the design and verification of voluminous and complex SoC (System-on-Chip), designs for automotive, AI, machine learning, and IoT. These designs are also applicable for consumer AR/VR gaming and security applications. Sondrel aims to use Synopsys’ design and verification platform solutions to build power-efficient designs for its customers.
Sondrel extends its expertise to turn designs into tested, volume-packaged silicon, and Synopsys was selected to replace its legacy design systems based on several essential benchmarks. Sondrel’s decision to implement the industry-leading design and verification technologies enabling power-efficient SoC designs with the best quality-of-results (QoR) and time-to-results was driven by Synopsys’ track record of power-efficient designs and power, output and area metrics.
Graham Curren, CEO, and founder of Sondrel, said that customers prefer Sondrel for solutions that push the limits. He said that SoCs are significantly more complicated every year. Their credibility is based on delivering leading-edge designs in stipulated time and affordable budget.
