SIX Trainer Tips for Staying Motivated At Home

Are you finding it hard to stay Motivated about fitness while you’re at home?

SIX Epic Human Xperience opened earlier this week, however, not everyone is in a rush to get back into the gym setting, and we respect our members’ decisions to continue exercising at home.

Along with our 9am live workouts Monday-Saturday on Facebook, we want to make every effort to amp you up while you exercise from home! It may be hard to stay motivated without the gym, but we believe it is the secret to getting the most out of your workouts!

First, let’s talk about motivation and exercise – how does it help with fitness? Then we’ll get you inspired with tips straight from our trainers and nutritionist at SIX Workout gym!

How Does Motivation Help With Fitness?

Motivation helps with staying consistent when it comes to exercise. Often, when you begin incorporating exercise into your everyday routine, you’ll find that motivation is necessary to keep that momentum going. Think about an end goal you have in mind: getting healthy, weight loss, muscle building, etc.

Consider motivation to be the fuel to your inner fire, and without it, your fire goes out. When you’re motivated, you are less likely to stop your progress. Do your best to stay motivated, because every bit counts towards your end goal!

SIX Trainer Tips: How to Stay Motivated

Our trainers and nutritionist are dedicated to helping you reach your goals. Whether you’re getting back into the swing of things or need help to keep your inner fire burning, they’re with you! In the spirit of staying motivated, they wanted to share their tips for how you can stay motivated and on track with your fitness journey!

Evan, Trainer

“Use a notebook and keep track of EVERYTHING! Tracking workouts (weights/reps/progressions) is super important to see progress and makes you want to keep going, so track everything to smash those goals.”

Taylor, Trainer

“I think working out with someone helps a lot, even if it’s over Zoom or FaceTime. Doing a program or workout with another person will help you stay accountable and motivated!”

Sofee, Manager and Trainer

“The Youtube and Facebook live workouts are a gift! Find some time to complete them, even if it’s the playback. They’re not long, so they’re totally doable! You’ve got this, SIX Workout Members!”

Rachel, Certified Nutritionist

“I would advise you to look at your calendar and schedule in times where you are committing to 30-60 minutes of movement 3-5x a week. Treat these appointments seriously, like you would any other type of appointment. Set an alarm on your phone as a reminder as well.”
