ICG Navik GD & Yantrik Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

ICG Navik GD Applications are invited from Male Indian Citizens possessing educational qualifications and age prescribed below, for Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch) and Yantrik posts
Education Qualification-
Navik (General Duty)- 10+2 passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by the Council of Boards for Schoo Education (COBSE)
Navik (Domestic Branch)- 10th class passed from an education board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE)
Yantrik- Candidates must have a 10th pass certificate and Diploma in Electrical /Mechanical/ Electronics/ Telecommunication Engineering of duration 03 or 04 Years approved by all India Council of Technical Education (AICTE)
Age Limit for Indian Coast Guard Jobs
The age of candidates should be between 18 Years to 22 years as of the last date of the ICG Navik GD Online Application Form. Age should be as follows-
Navik (GD) and Yantrik- Born between 01 February 2000 to 31 January 2004 (Both Dates inclusive)
Navik (DB)- Born between 01 April 2000 to 31 March 2004 (Both dates inclusive)
Note– Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy) candidates is applicable only if posts are reserved for them
Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

- OBC – 25 Years

- Height: Minimum Height 157 cms
- Chest: Minimum Expansion 5 cms.
- Weight: Proportionate to height & age +10% acceptable.
Visual Standards: 6/24 without glasses & 6/9 & 6/12 with glasses for Better Eye & Worse Eye respectively.
Qualification

Candidates will have to register themselves on the website and collect registration numbers and passwords for further use.
