APSET Syllabus 2020 – AP State Eligibility Test Exam Pattern

Andhra University is filling Various Vacancies for the post of Lecturers/Assistant professor. Those who have filled the Application Form can check the Subject Wise Syllabus from this article. Start Preparing for the APSET Paper with the help of Exam Pattern and Syllabus.

Candidates are required to score minimum marks in the two papers taken together. Now as per UGC’s changed criteria, applicants need to obtain minimum aggregate marks in all subjects. The merit list will be prepared consisting name of selected candidates as per APSET Advertisement.

Andhra Pradesh SET Selection Process 2020

Andhra University will select applicants on the basis of two papers taken together. The Paper-I will be for General knowledge and paper-II will be concerned subject. The paper-I will hold for 100 Mark and paper-II will be for 200 Marks. Each Question Carry 2 marks. Candidates have to solve paper-I in 1 Hour and Paper-II in 2 Hours time duration.

APSET Exam Pattern 2020

Exam Pattern for the APSET Written Exam is as Follows:-

• The exam will be Objective Type.
• There will be 2 Papers.
• There is No Negative Marking.

Paper I (Common for all Candidates)

• Paper-I shall consist of 50 objective type questions.
• Each question will carry 2 marks.
• The question paper – I will be bilingual (English and Telugu).
• Paper-I shall be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.

Paper-II

Paper-II is for the following subjects a) Commerce b) Economics c) Education d) History e) Political Science f) Public Administration and g) Sociology will be bilingual (English and Telugu). All the remaining papers are in English only except Hindi, Sanskrit, Telugu, and Urdu.

• Paper-II shall consist of 100 objective type questions based on the subject selected by the candidate.
• Each question will carry 2 marks.
