Unraveling the Mystery behind the Area 51 Raid Live Stream

In September 2019, around 2 million American people had pledged to assemble for raiding Area 51. Responding to a viral space oddity emerging from a Facebook event, they got geared up to offer their greetings to visitors from outer space. Many people got ready to conduct their own area 51 live streams. They intended to dig up mysteries shrouding the famed US Air Force base rumored to be involved in storing hidden extra-terrestrial paraphernalia.

What is Area 51?

Area 51 is located at Groom Lake, a dry lake bed in the Nevada desert, 85 miles north of Las Vegas. It had been built during the Cold War which was waged between the US and the Soviet Union. It hosted the testing and development of U-2 and SR-71 Blackbird reconnaissance planes.

The clandestine activities of this base are carefully protected with the help of warning signs, electronic surveillance, and armed guards. The existence of Area 51 was officially acknowledged by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) only in August 2013. Barack Obama became the first American president to mention it publicly.

Emerging Conspiracy theories

Over the years, a lot of conspiracy theories have emerged regarding the top-secret US government activities inside the base. Some claim that the site holds the remains of an alien spacecraft and its passengers after they crashed at Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947. Though this has been rebuffed by officials and claimed it was a weather balloon.

A man named Robert Lazar claimed that he worked on alien technology inside Area 51. He strengthened his stance by adding that he had seen medical snapshots of aliens and that the government used the facility to examine UFOs. Some people have made reports of UFO sightings, and have conjured up feisty stories about how they were abducted for experimentation, to be shortly returned to their earthly territory.

Mirage of Raiding Area 51

In July 2019, a troupe of space enthusiasts, including California college student Matty Roberts, got together to launch an enticing Facebook event of an Area 51 raid live stream. It was called “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us,” and intended to seek out volunteers to storm the mysterious Area 51 site.

Matty was able to convince people with his words, “we can run faster than their bullets. Let’s see those aliens.” They were astounded by the vast popular response. Approximately 2.1 million people responded that they will show up at the event, and another 1.5 million people said that they were ‘interested’.

Although intended to be a harmless joke, the pranksters gave all the signs of an official gathering by fixing the timing of the raid from 3 AM to 6 AM local time, on September 20, 2019. Numerous YouTube creators caught hold of this opportunity and held their individual Area 51 live streams, although they were fake. The very titles of their videos garnered hundreds of thousands of views in a matter of a couple of days.

One of the live streams was filmed by YouTuber TracE, and called “Area 51 Live: In conclusion, we failed.” TracE posted under his stream, “The video wasn’t us raiding, it was us showing you footage of LDG station.” Another YouTuber Isaiah Photo also uploaded a video named ‘Area 51 Live The Alien Raid’ and similarly did not show any people conspiring to enter the US military base.

Cautions regarding Area 51

The United States Air Force (USAF) spokesperson Laura McAndrews cautioned that Area 51 “is an open training range for the US Air Force, and we would discourage anyone from coming into the area where we train armed forces,” while anticipating the prospects of a large group of alien fanatics to gather around the Air Force base and conduct Area 51 live streams. It further elaborated, “The US Air Force always stands ready to protect America and its assets.”

Ultimately the local law enforcement officials claimed that the crowd was peaceful and manageable enough. “Once officers warned them about the consequences for storming the base, they did have second thoughts.”

The ‘Official Alienstock Tour

What began as an intensely hyped plan to break into Area 51 and reveal unthinkable secrets about alien life, ended with the organizers calling off the much-awaited event.

Space enthusiasts grabbed this opportunity to create an ‘Official Alienstock Tour’, a music festival taking after the 1969 music concert Woodstock. This event was held near the towns of Rachel and Hiko, the closest habitations to Area 51. People got ready to welcome visitors by decking up stalls and establishing a stage for the performance of 20 bands.

Las Vegas registered a huge response among alien believers as well. At the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center, hundreds of space fans gathered, flaunting their snazzy festival outfits while grooving to the beats of electronic dance music.
