ISLAMABAD: To transform Islamabad as per international standards, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Development Working Party has approved the development of Blue Area G-9/ F-9, Islamabad project.  

The development project scheduled to be completed within 12 months, will cost over Rs612 million.

Prior to this, CDA had announced its plans to revise the layout plan for Sector D-12 and Blue Area in a board meeting presided over by Chairman CDA Amer Ali Ahmed.

After developing the area, the authority will strategise to auction plots in the Blue Area in the near future.

The development work includes the improvement of roads and footpaths, protection work, revamping culverts to improve the water supply, work on drainage and sewerage system, landscaping, provision of electricity by shifting IESCO, PTC etc services.
