We are looking for an Assistant Cook with intermediate cooking experience - Part-Time for WEEKENDS.

Day Shift: 6a to 2p

Starting at $16 per hour

Assistant Cook Job Summary:

Prepare quality salads, desserts and soups.
Plate meals which are accurate based on resident/patient food preferences, with proper visuals and temperature.
Act as representative of Food Service Department in the Coffee Shop.
Prepare modified texture meals as required.
Assist in answering phones especially if no staff is available in the dietary office.
Perform other food service tasks under the direction of Supervisor.
Utilize standardized recipes when preparing and portioning food items.

Assistant Cook Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent.
Food preparation and/or basic cooking experience required.
Licensure/Certifications: Active Approved ANSI accredited/ Serv Safe certificate.
Cash register experience desirable but not required.
