Pay Rate: Based on Experience

What you'll be doing

  • Smile and make eye contact with guests
  • Make and confirm guest reservations
  • Get information to improve the guest experience
  • Efficiently multi-task
  • Assist the conference center manager with all aspects of the conference center including serving as a host, event setup, etc.
  • First point of contact for our guests, and must display the traditional values and professional standards that Dutchman Hospitality Group upholds in speech, conduct, and appearance.
  • Responsible for providing a positive guest experience at all times, serving in a courteous, efficient and friendly manner both face to face and on the phone.

Skills you'll bring along

  • Ability to work some weekends and holidays required.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Basic Computer skills, such as Word and Excel.
  • Possesses good Organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in math; ability to comprehend and execute instructions from guests and management; understanding of proper phone/email etiquette.
  • Previous experience coordinating events preferred

Job Type

  • Variable hour position.
  • 30-40 hours per week.
  • Work rotating schedules including some evenings, weekends and holidays
