What you'll be doing
- Smile and make eye contact with guests
- Make and confirm guest reservations
- Get information to improve the guest experience
- Efficiently multi-task
- Assist the conference center manager with all aspects of the conference center including serving as a host, event setup, etc.
- First point of contact for our guests, and must display the traditional values and professional standards that Dutchman Hospitality Group upholds in speech, conduct, and appearance.
- Responsible for providing a positive guest experience at all times, serving in a courteous, efficient and friendly manner both face to face and on the phone.
Skills you'll bring along
- Ability to work some weekends and holidays required.
- Able to work independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Basic Computer skills, such as Word and Excel.
- Possesses good Organizational skills.
- Proficiency in math; ability to comprehend and execute instructions from guests and management; understanding of proper phone/email etiquette.
- Previous experience coordinating events preferred
Job Type
- Variable hour position.
- 30-40 hours per week.
- Work rotating schedules including some evenings, weekends and holidays
