Job Summary:

The Bowl Patrol is responsible for maintaining the on mountain outhouse and restroom facilities.

Job Specifications:
  • Expected Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.04 / hour
  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time Hours available
  • Skill Level: Entry Level
  • Other Specifics: Building Mainteannce and Cleaning
Job Responsibilities:
  • Bowl Patrollers are responsible for cleaning and maintaining the on mountain public restroom facilities as well as various auxiliary buildings.
  • Patrollers either ski or ride to the various facilities and maintain them for our guests and staff.
  • A bowl patroller's duties will include, but are not limited to, daily cleaning of the facility, stocking supplies, shoveling snow to maintain entrances and pathways, minor repairs, and assisting other department staff as needed.
  • Bowl Patrollers have a lot of interaction with other Vail Resorts employees and the guests; therefore, they must have a positive attitude, be adaptable and flexible, and have a high level of communication skills.
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills and have the ability to approach guests in an enthusiastic, courteous and helpful manner -required
  • Work in inclement weather (sun, snow, cold) - required
  • Level 7 Skiing/Rider - required
  • Strong independent worker - required Able to work a varied schedule - required
  • Able to lift & carry up to 30lbs - required
  • Comfortable skiing with a backpack weighing 10-15 lbs - required
  • Able to work weekends and holidays - required
  • Commitment to end of season
  • Able to communicate in English - required
  • Previous cleaning experience - helpful
  • In person interview - preferred
The expected pay range is $20.00 - $22.04. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
