Daily Responsibilities Include:

As our Sous Chef, you'll be responsible for maintaining our high recipe, safety, and sanitation standards. You'll regulate production according to restaurant needs and build and maintain wood fires in the pit. You'll communicate with the line staff to keep production stocked and prepare and stock seasoned meats for production. You'll maintain a clean and safe working environment and ensure proper safety and sanitation practices are followed in the kitchen. You'll also lead, train, and motivate the kitchen staff and direct their hiring, supervision, and development.

We are looking for someone who:

Has a High School Diploma (Four Year Degree or Culinary Degree preferred)

Has at least 2-3 years' experience working as a full-time Chef (preferred candidate has heavy BBQ experience)

Has experience in quality food production, presentation, service, and sanitation

Has advanced understanding of professional cooking, knife handling skills, and a voracious appetite for knowledge

Can speak clearly and listen attentively to staff, peers, supervisors, and guests

Respects the process, the meat, and cooking in general

Can lift up to 50 pounds
