The Opportunity Delaware North Sportservice is hiring part-time Runners to join our team at Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts. As a Runner, you are responsible for quickly responding to changing needs within the dining room and expediting food from the kitchen to our guests by receiving food ticket orders, sorting them in kitchen stations, and notifying servers when dishes are complete. Responsibilities Check food order against the check to make sure order is complete and correct. Delivers food and beverages from the premium prep area to the seated guests in an efficient and timely manner. Delivers proper serving utensils with food. Provides quick and attentive assistance to the guests if they need assistance. Completes open and close duties as assigned. Helps maintain the cleanliness of the area. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age. 1 year front-of-house experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant is preferred. Physical Requirements Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions. Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs. Ability to maneuver around staff and guests. Visual acuity and hearing sufficient to take assist guests. Concert environment - noise level may be moderate to high during busy times. Ability to stand or walk for the entire length of the shift; may include walking up and down stairs. Able to work outside in all weather conditions including rain, wind, heat and cold.
