Job Description Summary

Responsible for managing the operations of all audio, video, lighting, media systems and technical equipment utilized on the casino and hotel properties. In collaboration with other departments, ensure all audio and visual systems are delivering approved content to include all marketing promotions, atmospheric initiates, and televised media programming. Expertise in AV technologies and strong leadership skills will be crucial in maintaining and enhancing the organization's AV infrastructure. Must maintain current knowledge of industry standards and awareness of upcoming innovations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

  • Responsible for overseeing all technical setups including audio, lighting, video, broadcast media, music and page for all property's casino, 360 and hotel locations.
  • Develop, implement and maintain AV systems, ensuring their optimal functionality and reliability.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration and troubleshooting of AV equipment, including audio system, video conferencing systems, projectors, displays and control systems.
  • Collaborate with IT and Facilities departments to integrate AV systems with existing infrastructure and ensure compatibility and network connectivity.
  • Stay up to date with emerging AV technologies, trends and industry best practices making recommendations for system upgrade and improvements.
  • Responsible for equipment inventory and tracking on a daily basis to ensure that company assets are not lost or damaged.
  • Manages the process of daily technical operations and first line maintenance for audio and video entertainment on the casino floor and 360, in order to assist in reaching system efficiency and guest satisfaction. Coordinate with necessary external approved vendors and internal departments to ensure efficiency of all systems and events.
  • Establish and execute a preventive maintenance schedule for AV systems, including regular inspections, software updates and equipment calibrations.
  • Coordinate with vendors for equipment repairs and warranty claims when necessary.
  • Leads the direction of the AV Team in the programming of AV content throughout the properties including but not limited to the rotational sports programming and music.
  • Develops and distributes information, procedures and rules regarding AV needs.
  • Maintains documentation and current AV mapping while enforcing documented change management.
  • Leads all AV training for support teams.
  • Provide excellent guest service.
  • Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and the ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.

Qualifications

Required Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Audiovisual Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years Audio Visual experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of audio, video and control systems, including video conferencing platforms.
  • Working knowledge of DMX LED lighting, distribution and control systems.
  • Proficiency in AV equipment setup, calibration and troubleshooting.
  • Professional certifications in Audio Visual technology or a related course is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols related to AV systems.
  • Experience managing small to large audio-visual projects within a hotel, event center, convention hall, or casino environment strongly preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Experience working with digital signage, IPTV, broadcast edge Quams and audio software.
  • Proficiency with audio DSP's utilizing Dante and CobraNet.
  • Advanced technical aptitude in audio visual technology, computers and networking.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills, computer literate, the ability to work with all departments and have excellent customer relation skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with all departments.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular business hours and travel to different locations as needed.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs, and sitting at desk/work station for the duration of the shift. Must be able to work in a smoke -filled environment. Must be able to work in a "lighting subdued" environment for extended periods of time. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions to include extreme heat and cold weather.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment to include entertainment venues. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
