  • Assist with set-up and manage food line during lunch
  • Make coffee and tea as needed and maintain supplies at beverage station(s)
  • Clear meal/dish drop-off area regularly; wipe down as needed
  • Using dishwasher, wash dishware/flatware/glassware; dry/polish and return to proper storage areas
  • Run pots and pans through dishwasher as needed
  • Clean and sanitize dish room surfaces and maintain organization of space
  • Clean and sanitize all tables, tabletop items, and chairs at end of service
  • Reset dining tables and service areas as needed
  • Vacuum/sweep and mop dining area, food service areas, and dish room daily
  • Dust all areas within dining area, food service areas, and dish room as needed
  • Collect all garbage from the dining area, food service areas and dish room, and dispose of daily
  • Break down and de-lime dishwasher every Friday
  • Break down and de-lime coffee air pots/urns weekly
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to physically perform the duties of the position, including but not limited to the ability to move furniture, stand for up to 2 consecutive hours, kneel, bend, stoop, climb and push, pull, and lift 50 pounds.

Job Summary:

Perform a variety of foodservice line and cleaning duties for the Refectory dining and dish room areas.
