ABOUT THE ROLE:

This position is responsible for administering Union benefit data processing functions for all Union personnel. You will be directly responsible for the accurate and timely maintenance of the Collective Bargaining Agreements(CBA) for benefits processing and reporting. You will serve as the main point of contact for all CBA system setups and Local Union Audits.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Review and process Collective Bargaining Agreements and add new benefit categories as needed.
  • Work with the HRIS Department to ensure the systems are properly set up.
  • Act as lead for all Local Audits.
  • Train all new union team members within the department.
  • Act as subject matter expert for all union matters.
  • Review Collective Bargaining Agreements for the set up of benefits for all Local Unions. Benefits are Health & Welfare, Pension/401k, Training, Education, etc.
  • Ensure all Union employees have the proper benefits based on their Local Union designation and the CBA. Review and correct errors to ensure that employees/unions will avoid penalties and union grievances.
  • Prepare monthly funding reports for each local to report employee benefit amounts.
  • Request checks for funding from Accounts Payable and provide to Local Unions with funding reports.
  • Review and respond to monthly general ledger reconciliation spreadsheets prepared by Finance/Accounting to ensure balanced entries between what was withheld from the employee and what was paid to the locals.
  • Perform PeopleSoft project testing as it pertains to union activities.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • High School diploma (Associates degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • PeopleSoft system knowledge preferred.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr. Union Benefits Specialist position is $65,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Sr. Union Benefits Specialist is $75,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
