Help us welcome our guests to their home away from home. Have them enjoy our paradise in the sun as their own. This sparkling and polished retreat will allow them to escape the hustle and bustle of their everyday life.

The Guest Room Attendant is responsible for providing extraordinary consistent service, cleaning the guestrooms and Sunsuites as well as guest bathrooms while meeting core service standards, AAA 5 Diamond standards, Forbes Travel Guide 5 Star standards and brand attributes.

All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resorts policies, practices, and procedures.

Job Duties

  • Cleans guestrooms including duties such as making beds, vacuuming, emptying trash, wiping down or dusting all surfaces.
  • Replenishes all guest amenities and information folders as needed.
  • Cleans bathrooms by scrubbing basins, bathtubs, shower walls and doors, toilets, and tile floors with damp rags and proper chemicals when applicable.
  • Reports unusual room conditions or rooms in need of repair.
  • Follows all safety policies and guidelines of the department, Company, State or Federal authorities.
  • Ensures guest satisfaction through prompt, efficient and friendly service.

Minimum Requirements

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Sunseeker Resorts performs criminal background checks on all candidates. Candidates will need to be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Sunseeker Resorts uses E-Verify to confirm the eligibility of all newly hired employees to work in the United States. For more details on E-Verify visit e-verify.gov.

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Minimum of six (6) months housekeeping experience, preferred.

  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to function well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines
  • Must possess mature personal discretion and sound judgment
  • Strong leadership abilities, sound judgment, superior problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and project management skills, with particular attention to quality and detail
  • Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
