Responsibilities:

  • Drive meetings sets that are elements of the F&OP business process and monthly cycle. Continue to formalize this nascent process by championing improved structure, stakeholder engagement and process maturation.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the F&OP business process in concert with the process owner(s). Participate day-to-day in administering the process, ensure process documentation remains accurate, and develop the process to meet evolving requirements.
  • Actively work in IBP (Integrated Business Planning) digital planning system, ensuring monthly operators, and other regular calendar driven activities are occurring per design.
  • Interact with IBP to perform manual adjustments (e.g. inventory loading) are executed, and Master Data is maintained. Facilitate complete and robust data sets within IBP, and instill confidence in stakeholder perspective on IBP as single source of truth for R&D supply chain planning.
  • Maintain accountability for R&D Supply Chain dashboards, analytics and reports. Further build capabilities per F&OP stakeholder Voice of Customer and evolving requirements. Act as point of contact with IT design team fulfilling dashboarding requirements.
  • Act as interim Business Process Manager (BPM) for seven Level-1 processes which are part of the R&D Supply Chain planning model. Apply a disciplined approach to execute, document, measure, monitor, and control both automated and non-automated business processes. Facilitate improved process metrics, KPIs and reporting which drive process both management and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Operate with a high degree of connectedness, transparency and clarity to ensure common understanding of requirements, issues and actions; listen to stakeholders and distill information into pertinent and actionable content.
  • Demonstrate a nimble nature to adapt to the pace and dynamic nature of an R&D environment; process data, information and feedback with speed and communicate outcomes, alternatives and actions plans with appropriate urgency.
  • Proactively approach change management and model ideal behaviors and actions; foster growth of employees through inspiration, innovation and advocating of the value and case for change.
  • Use critical thinking to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Must possess initiative with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Face multiple upstream and downstream stakeholders, and through regular interactions, develop trusted relationships to enable efficient operations; leverage a wide sphere of influence; pressure test demand requirements and supply constraints constructively and negotiate bi-directionally to develop balanced outcomes.
  • Prior experience within a supply chain function; familiarity and operation within an S&OP process; knowledge of regulatory and GMP frameworks related to clinical use of bulk drug substance and drug product; knowledge of the drug development process and clinical trials; APICS certifications; 5-7 years biopharmaceuticals industry planning experience.
