Primary Responsibilities

The primary function of this position will be to serve our external customers by planning, delivering, assessing our fresh food offerings along with overseeing ongoing improvement of food service operations, including franchise operations.

Duties/Responsibilities
Oversees Little Sue's Food Service Marketing as well as the Franchise Operations. Markets the program to maximize profits. Monitors customer satisfaction.
Serves as an active member of the Leadership Team of Little Sue's, upholding policies and implements administrative guidelines and procedures.
Promotes the mission, philosophy, and vision of Little Sue's Food Service. Builds external and internal partnerships that support those goals.
Advances the professional image of Little Sue's Food Service. Maintains open/effective communications.
Analyzes data to improve sales and profits of Little Sue's Food Service and Franchise Operations. Serves as a resource and helps develop and implement the strategic plan.
Develop promotional plans for the Little Sue's Food Service.
Develop food service operational standards and procedures. Consistently research systems to improve efficiency and productivity
Develop and monitor inventory/waste controls
Develop a relationship with vendors to maximize gross profit, optimize cost, product quality, and service.
Maintain and annually update food service menu (sku rationalization), recipes cards and pricing lists and have a plan for LTOs (Limited Time Offers)
Annually update caloric/nutritional information
Develop food service and dispensed beverage forecasts for all stores
Develop a work flow plan to maximize sales and payroll
Research, evaluate, and recommend new equipment
Maintain food service pricing
Promote, schedule, and/or facilitate training for all associates, including sanitation and food service
Ensure stores comply with Foodservice Sanitation regulations - stores achieving 90% or better on inspections
Work with the Operations Team to maximize food service sales and profits
Stay current on industry trends and legal issues that impact the industry and organization
Liaison with Virginia Departments of Agriculture on Food Safety
Complete projects and other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Retail Division

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5 years of experience in food service
Previous experience in a supervisory role
Previous experience in food service operations, accounting, and vendor relations
Committed to the values of integrity, caring relationships, responsibility, and pride
Knowledge of computer technology including Word, Excel, and e-mail
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Certified in food service sanitation

Supervisory Responsibilities

Direct and develop Food Service Trainers, and Managers giving direction and establishing priorities.
