Gopuff is looking for a dedicated Kitchen Associate (Line Cook) to support all daily activities associated within our fresh food kitchens. Report to the Kitchen Lead and work out of our capsule kitchens alongside our micro-fulfillment centers, you will create an enjoyable experience for our customers by providing prompt service, and quality food while maintaining a clean and comfortable kitchen environment. Customers turn to Gopuff to provide their everyday essentialsday and night, rain or shine. And it doesn't hurt if you like snacks.You Will:-Prepare quality beverages and food menu items for all customers by observing all recipes and presentation standards-Ensure accuracy of all food and beverage packaged for delivery-Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products-Receive and put away order/invoice, and resolve discrepancies when they do not match expiration requirements-Maintain Kitchen Facility organization and standards to ensure resources can be accessed while managing waste and spoilage through mindful pouring and food preparation-Prepare, package and stage/handoff ordersYou Have:-High School diploma or GED equivalent-2+ years of food service and/or restaurant experience (preferred, not required)-Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50lbs-General working knowledge of basic web-based software applications (e.g. Google G-Suite)-Stand and walk for the duration of an assigned shift-Available to work flexible hours that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidaysGopuff is seeking an energetic and dedicated Kitchen Associate (Line Cook) to support all day-to-day activities associated with our newly launched operations in Philadelphia (with many more to come!). This job creates an enjoyable experience for our customers by providing prompt service, quality food while maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment.Additional responsibilities may be included at management's discretion and consistent with Company needs.ResponsibilitiesReceiving and Put Away order/invoice, and resolve discrepancies when they do not match expiration requirements Preparation of Orders Customer Service Facility Organization and standardsAssist managers and kitchen team with any site-related tasks as directed. Sort/Receive product from vendors, ensuring physical count matches purchase orderPrepare quality beverages and food menu items consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipes and presentation standards Ensure accuracy of all beverages and foods packaged for delivery Properly prepare, package and stage/handoff ordersFollow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.Label beverages and food items for proper preparation and deliveryContact customer support for substituted or out-of-stock items if necessaryAmend order contents per confirmation of substitutionConduct cycle counts to identify loss and improve in-stock positionMaintain a clean and organized workspace so that the team can locate resources Manage waste and spoilage through mindful pouring and food preparationEnsure the Standards of Conduct and other Company policies are followedQualifications2+ years of food service and/or restaurant experience highly preferredPassionate about providing an exceptional and consistent customer experienceAbility to use Company-provided digital applicationsExperience in customer-facing and/or other fast-paced retail environment preferredSafeServe Certified preferred High School diploma or GED equivalentBonus points if you love food, coffee & matcha as much as we do!
