*Hampton Inn and Suites Exeter is looking for a Part Time Breakfast Attendant*To prepare and service the daily complimentary breakfast, greeting each guest and ensuring that guests are 100% satisfied. This position does include both food prep and kitchen/dining room clean up daily.*.* STARTING PAY RATE $13.00 per hour.*.* PLEASE NOTE: THE HOURS OF THIS POSITION ARE 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM.*.* HOTEL/RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED.* ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.*Provides personalized service to all guestsSets up and maintains the breakfast buffet in an attractive abundant-looking, organized, clean and standardized presentationTakes inventory of food, beverages and supplies needed each dayInforms General Manager of purchasing needsPrepares foods such as cut fruit, coffee and juices from concentratesUses industrial kitchen equipment to heat and cook hot breakfast itemsStocks coffee, juice and milk in machines or dispensersSets up serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups, and other paper productsSets out/arranges cold food such as sweet rolls, muffins, and cereal for self serviceClears and cleans tables as they are vacatedWipes up spillsRemoves trashRestocks self service food and supplies as neededWashes serving equipment and returns to proper storage areaReturns reusable food supplies to storage* REQUIREMENTS*Ability to get to work on time as scheduled and work the early morning shift (shifts are scheduled 5:00 AM -1:00 PM including weekends).Ability to present a professional demeanor, both in appearance and communication skillsMust have strong interpersonal skills to engage and interact with associates and guestsServSafe Certification preferredMust have basic knowledge of the proper use, maintenance, and cleaning of industrial kitchen* SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES*This job has no supervisory responsibilities.* QUALIFICATIONS*To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.* TRAINING*At Island Hospitality, we emphasize training and constantly strive to foster a learning environment that provides clear career paths for all team members regardless of entry level into the Island organization.
