Position Description

The Cash Verification Supervisor reports to the Cash Verification Manager and is responsible for Supervising cash verification staff members, assisting operation's needs, supporting cash over/short, purchasing card administration, reviewing various KPIs to help evaluate staffing needs and process improvement.

Essential responsibilities will include:

• Supervise day-to-day activities of the cash verification functions to meet the financial obligations of the organization.
• Provide support, back up and guidance to cash verification team on use of all systems and applications.
• Work closely with 3rd party vendors to ensure operations needs are being met, in regards to cash handling, credit card processing, and purchasing card program.
• Ensure proper development and documentation for all Cash Verification procedures.
• Ensures policies and procedures meet the organization's objectives, needs, and regulatory body requirements.
• Evaluate new business opportunities.
• Work on audit and accounting-related projects.
• Identify trends in team performance.
• Assure projects/department milestones goals are met and adhere to budgets.
• Recommend cost-saving or revenue-generating opportunities.
• Complete other duties as may be assigned.

Desired Skills and Experience

• 2-year degree in accounting, finance, or other related area.
• Detailed understanding of accounting, finance and treasury.
• 5 years or more of leadership and direct personnel supervision experience of multiple employees.
• Supervise and train personnel and establish and maintain working relations with employees, clients and other people contacted in course of work.
• Ability to effectively oversee multiple projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management.
• Detail-oriented and strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Intermediate to advanced user level with Microsoft Office Products.
