JOB TITLE: Sap Senior Basis and Security Administrator

Project description

This position is out of the Arizona Beverages corporate office in Woodbury, NY. This is a Senior SAP Basis and Security position. It is preferable this resource has the majority of the following skills.

Day to Day Skills

• Check database operations

• Check background job status and work process status

• Check Dump status

• Verify user operations, lock table and failed updates

• Identify SAP performance and usage issues

• Check CPU and memory usage, and response time

• Archive directory status validation

• Check free space in database

• Clean up spool

• Check spool requests

• Run check for TemSe consistency

• Analyzing Early Watch report

• Review and validate security audit log

• Monitoring tablespace growth, free space and DB growth

• Evaluate database consistency

• Cleaning old logs

• Monitoring growth of the database

• Checking locked transactions

• Checking standard scheduled jobs

• Evaluating SAP profile parameters

• Checking locked transactions

• Performing backup and restore tests

• Maintaining database parameter files

• Checking user IDs and DDIC

• Checking and managing clients in test, QA, and development systems

• Check profile parameters in SAP

• Technical upgrades

• Checking workbench organizer settings

• Updating kernel and applying database patches

• Create Business Catalogs via Fiori Launchpad Designer and transport Creation on front-end server (Customizing and Workbench requests creation).

• Business Groups and Business Roles Creation via FLPD and PFCG.

• Troubleshoot Fiori Tile connectivity issues using SAP Gateway Error Log /IWFND/ERROR_LOG, Gateway traces /IWFND/TRACES and Application Log Viewer /IWFND/APPS_LOG and Developer Tools.

• Activate and Maintain Front-End Services via /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE

• Create and Custom Fiori Tiles (Static Tiles, Dynamic and Newsfeed application Tiles) SAP Web dynpro.

Security Back-End

• Expert in SAP security concepts with reference to various modules - FI, CO, PP, MM, and SD modules and also expertise in SOLMAN 7.2 security.

• Role Design, Creation and Implementation. Proficient in use of standard security administration tools such as Profile Generator.

• (PFCG) for Authorization Profiles/Roles administration (design, development, and support), User administration (User creation and maintenance), Background jobs scheduling activities.

• Create Single, Composite and Derive Roles .

• Organization Roles creation and segregation of duties for Company Code, Plant, Shipping Point, Movement Types, Doc Type, Billing Type, etc.

• Troubleshoot security authorization issues performing traces ST01, SU53, SUIM and ST05.

• Authorization Objects maintenance

• Custom Authorization objects creation via SU21 and deployment of new objects to Security Roles via PFCG

• Custom TCODE creation , adding and removing tcode functionality.

• Maintain Authorization Default Values via SU24

BW Security

• Create and activate analysis authorizations and to run trace analysis via RSECADMIN

BOBJ Security

• Create users, roles and folder structure .

• Restrict report access.

• Troubleshoot Report connectivity issues and bug fixes.

HANA Security and Netweaver Security Administration for PI/PO.
