Top companies list here: Mukesh Ambani boom this time, Adani’s companies at the bottom!

Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries Ltd is the most valuable listed company amongst the top 500 companies in India, as per Hurun India’s ‘2022 Burgundy Private Hurun India 500’.The list released on Thursday (December 1)revealed that Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and HDFC Bank at second and third positions.

Axis Bank’s `2022 Burgundy Pvt Hurun India 500, which lists the country’s 500 most valuable firms, reported that the total value of the list remained unchanged at INR 226 lakh crore. Three hundred companies saw their value increase in the last year, of which 18 doubled in value, and six – led by four Adani Group firms – saw an increase of INR 1 lakh crore.
Adani group companies posted the highest year-on-year profit in absolute terms. Adani Total Gas raised INR 2.3 lakh crore, followed by Adani Enterprises with INR 2.1 lakh crore, Adani Transmission with INR 1.7 lakh crore, and Adani Green Energy with INR 1.4 lakh crore.
