For worldwide service expansion, the systems will effortlessly interface as well as connect to the world’s top inter-exchange points and content hubs. “IAX and IEX will improve consumer and corporate customers’ ability to access content and cloud services both inside and outside of India,” Jio stated.

“largest international underwater cable infrastructure India technologies have positioned themselves in the centre of the world network map for the first time in fibre optic submarine telecommunications, recognizing the country’s expanding importance, incredible growth, and quantum increase in data consumption since the day 1st of Jio services.”

These high-capacity, high-speed networks will stretch 16,000 kilometers and deliver more than 200 Tbps of capacity.

The use of open system technology and the most up-to-date wavelength switching RoADM/branching devices provides quick update deployment and maximum flexibility in adding and dropping waves across numerous sites. According to the business, these systems situate India at the center of the world network map for the first time in the history of fiber optic submarine telecommunications.

With quick connection from Mumbai states and Chennai states of India to Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia, the IAX system connects India, the world’s fastest developing economy, to Asia Pacific markets. Beyond Asia Pacific and Europe, the two systems are linked to the Reliance Jio Global Fiber Network. IAX is planned to be operational in mid-2023, while IEX will be operational in early 2024.
