Toyota
Toyota is best recognized for building reliable cars.
Toyota vehicles are well-liked for their reliability and durability. They are known for providing convenience, comfort and safety to their customers making it one the most renowned car manufacturer in the world and considered the best Japanese car company. Established by Kiichiro Toyoda in 1937, it was a spinoff from his father's company. It has headquarters in Toyota, Aichi, Japan. According to the Fortune Global 500 tally, Toyota is the world's 6th largest companies by consolidated revenue as of 2018. Toyota was earlier world’s third largest manufacturer and in 2005 and 2006 if manufactured more than Ford and General Motors and has been the world's largest automotive manufacturer since then. Lexus
Lexus is a subsidiary of Toyota founded in 1989. Lexus was formed to produce luxury segment cars. They began with sedans and have added coupé, convertible and SUV models. Lexus did not exist as a brand until 2005 was marketed under Toyota’s umbrella. In 2005, Lexus became the first Japanese luxury car brand to launch in its country of origin. Lexus IS and Lexus ES are few of the popular models from Lexus.
Suzuki
Suzuki is another Japanese automobile multinational corporation headquartered in Minami-ku, Hamamatsu. Suzuki was founded by Michio Suzuki in 1937, a spin-off company from Suzuki Loom works which was into weaving looms. It has more than 45,000 workers and has 35 production units in 23 countries. It also has 133 distributors in 192 countries. It has subsidiaries in India, America, Pakistan, Canada, and many other countries under the brand Maruti Suzuki India, American Suzuki Motor, Pakistani Suzuki Motor Company, Suzuki Canada respectively. Honda
Honda is a Japanese automaker renowned globally and the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturer. Honda was founded in 1946. Auto production was a recent development started in 1969. The popular models are Accord and the CRV. Honda is an important player in both the Auto industry as well at the global level.
Mitsubishi
Mitsubishi is a group of autonomous companies operating under the Mitsubishi group. It is one of the oldest companies founded in 1870 by Iwasaki Yatarō. It has its headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.
