UP Police Sub-Inspector Recruitment 2024 Vacancies
- Sub-Inspector (Confidential): 268 vacancies (UR-114, EWS-25, OBC-71, SC-54, ST-04), Pay Scale: Pay Band-2 ₹9300-34800 Grade Pay ₹4200 (to be revised as Pay Scale Level-6 of 7th CPC ₹35400-112400), Qualification: Graduation in any discipline or equivalent recognised degree. Hindi Typing 25 WPM and 30 WPM in English Typing. Minimum 80 WPM speed of Hindi Stenography. Passed DOEACC 'O' level exam or equivalent, Age: 21-28 years as of 01/07/2023
- Assistant Sub-Inspector (Clerical): 449 vacancies (UR-186, EWS-43, OBC-120, SC-93, ST-07), Pay Scale: Pay Band-3 ₹5200-20200 Grade Pay ₹2800 (to be revised as Pay Scale Level-5 of 7th CPC ₹29200-92300), Qualification: Graduation in any discipline or equivalent recognised degree. Hindi Typing 25 WPM and 30 WPM in English Typing. Passed DOEACC 'O' level exam or equivalent, Age: 21-28 years as of 01/07/2023.
- Assistant Sub-Inspector (Accounts): 204 vacancies (UR-88, EWS-19, OBC-53, SC-42, ST-02), Pay Scale: Pay Band-3 ₹5200-20200 Grade Pay ₹2800 (to be revised as Pay Scale Level-5 of 7th CPC ₹29200-92300), Qualification: Graduation in Commers discipline (B. Com.) OR Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent qualification. Hindi Typing 15 WPM. Passed DOEACC 'O' level exam or equivalent, Age: 21-28 years as of 01/07/2023.
Application Fee
An application fee of ₹400/- to be paid by all types of candidates to be deposited in the designated branches of State Bank of India (SBI) in Account header 007060800140000 through payment challan.
Selection Process
The selection for the posts of Sub-Inspector/Assistant Sub-Inspector in UP Police for the year 2024 will be through a written examination of 200 questions having 400 marks of 2:30 hours.
