About SSC Strographer Vacancy Recruitment Examination 2023

The Stenographer Group-C and Group-D Recruitment Examination 2023 is an annual recruitment examination of SSC mandated by the Government of India to select and recruit suitable candidates for the posts of Stenographers. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) holds an Open Competitive Computer Based Examination for recruitment of Stenographer Grade 'C' (Group 'B', NonGazetted) and Stenographer Grade 'D' (Group 'C') for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India annually.

For the recruitment examination of Stenographers 2023, only candidates with the required skills in stenography are eligible to apply. This minimum qualification is the 12th pass for the vacancy of the Stenographer post.

SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2023 Vacancies

• Stenographers Grade C: 93 (UR-49, EWS-06, OBC-22, SC-13, ST-03) (PWD-04), Age: 18-30 years as of 01/08/2023, Relaxations in age as per rules, Qualification: Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent from a recognized Board or University, Pay Scale Pay Grade: ₹4600 and ₹4200 (pre-revised)
• Stenographers Grade D: 1114 Vacancies (UR-499, EWS-90, OBC-272, SC-165, ST-88) (ESM-88, PWD-51, Others-10), Age: 18-27 years as of 01/08/2023, Relaxations in age as per rules, Qualification: Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent from a recognized Board or University, Pay Scale Pay Grade: ₹2400 (pre-revised)

Application Fee

₹100/- to be paid through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa MasterCard, Maestro RuPay Credit, or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branch by generating SBI Challan. No fee for SC/ ST/ PH/ Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates.
