How to download duplicate Aadhar Card copy online in case of lost of Aadhaar number or misplaced acknowledgement slip?
If you don’t remember your Aadhar Card number and lost you acknowledgement slip given to you at the time of registration in center. Follow the given below instructions to get the copy of duplicate AADHAR Card:
- Go to https://resident.uidai.net.in/find-uid-eid
- Select suitable option under head “You want to receive lost” – “Aadhar No (UID)” or “Enrolment No (EID)”
- Fill your full name
- Fill you email address
- Fill your registered Mobile Number
- Fill the security code and then click on “GET OTP” bar
- You will get the OTP (One Time Password” on your mobile as well as on your email address
- Fill the OTP in the following box from your mobile or email address
- Then click on “VERIFY OTP”
- You will now received a message on your mobile phone containing your Aadhar Card number or Enrolment ID as per the option selected by you in the step 2nd
- Then go to https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/
- Select suitable option under head “I HAVE” – “AADHAR” or “Enrolment ID”
- Fill your Aadhar Card Number/ Enrolment ID, Full Name, Pin Code, Security Text, Mobile Number
- Now click on “Get OTP”
- You will receive OTP on your registered mobile and email ID
- Fill the OTP in the following box from your mobile or email address
- Click on “VALIDATE and DOWNLOAD”
- You will now get eaadhar downloaded at your system and you just need to fill your pin code as password to open the Aadhar card in PDF format
- You can have the print out of your eaadhar card now to use it as your identity proof and address proof
Contact UIDAI –
Unique Identification Authority of India representative on toll free number and let them know about your lost of Aadhar Card. They will assist you in providing the duplicate Aadhar card number by sending the Aadhar card at your postal address. You will also get the Aadhar number on your registered mobile via SMS and on your email ID.
If you find yourself not able to contact UIDAI via phone or through email, please contact the nearby Regional Office of Aadhar card to lodge complaint regarding lost of card and for applying to issue a new card. Bring your original documents along with the copy of them which you have submitted at the time of enrolment.
If you find it difficult to reach Aadhar Card Regional Office, you can also walkin the enrolment center with all your documents in original along with the copy of each.
