Dr.Jack Kavanaugh turned around and restarted his career from scratch. He went to earn his MBA from U.C.L.A. As his career segued into private equity, he decided to return to medical school. He earned his M.D. degree from U.S.C. and carried out his surgical residency at U.C.L.A’s Jules Stein Institute.

His background as a doctor and a business professional gave rise to an unusual skill set.
