Dr. Jack Kavanaugh has always been a very bright student in academics and knew what he wanted to achieve in his life. He has earned different degrees in both the medical and business fields. He has received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He has also obtained his residency in ophthalmology from the University of California. Later on, he completed his MD from the University of Southern California. Apart from this, Jack also completed his Bachelor in Arts and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from UCLA.

- He has invented the light adjustable lens (LAL) for cataract surgery when he was serving in the Calhoun Vision as an entrepreneur. Currently, the LAL is used in the U.S. for the eye-related problems that are caused due to age, radiations, trauma, or genetic factors.
- Jack has also been a member of the board of Materia Inc. and helped the company to raise funds in order to commercialize the company and also helped in producing metathesis catalysis.
- In the year 1996, he founded a health care service provider company named Amerident. This company worked very well and also received around 30 community service awards.
- Currently, Jack is appointed as the Chairman of the Orbsen Therapeutics Limited in Galway, Ireland.
Charitable Work
Dr. Jack Kavanaugh along with his wife Leslie has always worked together for the people who needed medical help. They both are the supporters of numerous charitable trusts and many non-profit organizations. In addition to this, they are also members of the renowned organization named City of Hope National Medical Center, Duarte, California. This organization works for developing medical treatments and techniques that cure patients who are suffering from severe diseases like Cancer. He also has founded ZetaRx Biosciences, which developed the immunotherapy technique in order to avoid the use of chemotherapy, surgery, or radiotherapy for treating cancer.
