1. Requirements for conveyor belts
The Telescopic Conveyor belt is the main equipment for transporting coal and lime into the thermal power plant. Therefore, it has high-security requirements. Generally, the entire transit line is equipped with a two-channel sideband conveyor, one is used, another is a backup application device. Therefore, this coal transportation system must be equipped with a sidewall belt conveyor with a length of 2499 m to 2999 m. By using a sidewall-belt conveyor in a thermal power plant, the process can not only be simplified, but also the costs can be saved.
2. Features of the conveyor belt in the power plant
As the power station imposes high demands on the safety of the equipment, the technical requirements for side conveyors are as follows:
1) There are other requirements for the Telescopic conveyor when collecting, transporting or distributing materials. For example, if the Conveyor Belt is used to obtain materials, the speed of the belt should not be too high for it. When used to transport materials, this requires the recess roll trough angle to decrease properly. When the plow unloader is put into service, the rubber of the surface coating of the belt must be properly thickened.
2) The speed of the tape should be low. The conveyor belt is usually located in the workshop and therefore has high requirements for controlling coal dust. National and foreign practical experience, it is better to accept lower speed.
3) After installing this machine, it rarely changes its layout.
4) The different types of coal have different requirements for conveyor belts. For example, a large particle size of carbon requires a high-quality impact roll. Requires more dust guide sheet with coal and good seal with low water.
