The Joy of Flowers

Floral arrangements are a beautiful way to tell people that you’re thinking of them. Many folks are working from home, and there’s nothing quite like green plants and fresh flowers to boost creativity and a sense of calm. But right now Winston Flowers cannot deliver flowers in-person. However, they found a creative and lovely way to help us all share messages of love. The local Greenwich business started a virtual program. “You may send a virtual Arrangement by purchasing any product within our collections. You’ll receive an email with a beautiful photo of the arrangement and a card with your personal message to share with the recipient,” says David Winston, co-owner of the Greenwich shop. “Once we re-open, we’ll deliver the actual arrangement at no additional charge.” (Use the code VIRTUAL for a 20% discount.) Just as spring always returns, we too will once again be able to send plants and bouquets to our friends and loved ones. Until then, we will send the feelings of love and support behind them with this new and temporary program. Apricot Classic Collection
($95, $120, $150): Celebrate the return of warmer days with sunny arrangements of Seasonal Blooms. Strawberry-hued sweet pea floats over double-blooming tulips, lemony roses, and cheerful daffodils. Our large and deluxe arrangements also feature show-stopping coral ranunculus. Embellished with mini ‘mojito’ hydrangea and fans of fern in our signature glass vase.

Lilac Shimmer ($175): Shimmering shades of lilac abound in this lovely springtime presentation. Plumes of Dutch hyacinth and fluttering wisps of sweet pea make for an airy arrangement that smells as good as it looks. Finished with bell-shaped fritillaria in a clear glass vessel.

Plum Garden ($200): Natural and spirited, this eye-catching piece captures the scene of garden flowers growing freely. Flawless stems of black ranunculus and fragrant Dutch hyacinth are nestled between milky white anemones and airy blossoms of sweet pea. Complete with plumes of lilac in a glossy gray bowl.

Ranunculus Luxe ($300): Effortless and elegant, this piece showcases the much-loved ranunculus in high style. These gorgeous seasonal blooms are shown in delicate shades of buttercream, soft strawberry, and creamy, dreamy lemon. Complemented by winding jasmine vines and gardenia foliage in a glossy white bowl.
