The City of Mcallen is excited to announce the upcoming Mxlan Economic Summit, scheduled to take place at the McAllen Convention Center on Friday, July 28, 2023. Keynote speakers for the summit will include Duncan Wood, an esteemed expert on Texas-U.S.-Mexico relations, alongside prominent industry experts, banking professionals, real estate moguls, and successful entrepreneurs. The Greater McAllen Association of Realtors will be announcing an exciting addition to their MLS, or property listing, system.
5. Addressing Labor Shortages Through International Partnerships: The University of Texas-RGV will discuss their Global Hub or Foreign Investor Soft Landing program. Labor experts will discuss root causes of labor shortages and discuss solutions through work visas.
