FREE Health Fair open to the public, Dec. 8-9

MISSION, Texas –

The Mission Regional Medical Center’s laboratory team will provide a free master blood test over the two-day event while supplies last, in which a 12-hour fast is required before the test. We are making sure we are mindful of making this event as safe as possible in the midst of the current pandemic times we are in. To ensure we are staying safe, this event will be held over the span of two days, and wellness blood tests will be done by appointment. Appointments can be made today by contacting the GMCC office at 956-585-2727 Monday – Friday from 8:30 am- 12:00 pm. Free health screenings will be provided as well and will include some of the following services: – Flu Vaccines – Complete Blood Count – Total Cholesterol – Comprehensive Metabolic Blood Panel – Pulmonary Function – QuantaFlo – Bone Density Screening, and more. 

“After the last few years and the changes we’ve adapted to in regards to our health, The Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce is more than ever, focused and committed to advocating for a healthier community environment. We continue to support and encourage our business partners to come together to engage in meaningful efforts for the well-being of the All-America City of Mission,” said Brenda Enriquez, President & CEO of the Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce. GMCC will provide local organizations and business members the opportunity to gather to help educate and serve, “we highly encourage dedicated organizations interested in the opportunity to participate as one of our health and wellness vendors, while joining forces with us to ensure this annual event is a community-wide effort,” said Enriquez. 

Through these efforts, the Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce aims to truly impact the quality of life by providing vital services to all individuals and families of the community.
