Pharr, TX– The Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley is thrilled to announce H-E-B as the Watermelon level sponsor for Food Bank RGV’s upcoming 2021 Empty Bowls Luncheon and Silent Auction.
H-E-B’s sponsorship will enable the Food Bank RGV to provide an additional 50,000 meals for families in need during this upcoming holiday season. H-E-B has proudly supported the Food Bank RGV through its disaster relief drive-thru distributions during the heaps of the pandemic and has held a variety of campaigns over the years that have generously supported the hunger relief efforts of Food Bank RGV.
Empty Bowls 2021 will take place from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm on October 26, 2021 at Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg, Texas. This year’s Empty Bowls Luncheon and Silent Auction will benefit the Food Bank RGV’s 1,000,000-holiday meal campaign, which will ensure that RGV families have healthy and complete meals on the table this season. Food Bank RGV’s signature fundraising event features food tastings from over 25 local restaurants, music, silent auctions, and raffles.
