Sau Paulo, Brazilian University Launches a Cryptocurrency Course
Sau Paulo University is going to launch Cryptocurrency master’s academic course from the next semester. The idea behind starting this course is that cryptocurrency space is full of confusion and complexity and there are very fewer people who have got profound expertise in the space. Otherwise, a whole lot people are such that they have a very little knowledge about cryptocurrency. Despite this, the popularity of virtual currency is increasing day by day. This is why the Brazilian University, has decided to start a masters degree in Crypto-finance.
Fundacao Getulio Vargas, a higher study institution in Brazil has announced that it is going to be the first ever course based on crypto-finance in the country. The institution is Sau Paulo based. Ricardo Rochman, the programme coordinator accentuated that the more educational resources are needed to be available on the Cryptocurrency subject. He also stated that it is the market wherein people have extreme lack of expertise. Cryptocurrency is a huge field, its financial and economic behaviors and trends are worthy to be discussed and taught to the masses.
One of the economics students at the university highlighted the need of this course saying, that there is a conceptual benefit of knowing the pragmatic application of the cryptocurrency technology as well as how it can be used as an investment alternative.
Students being proactive
Students at the university, being proactive have formed Blockchain Insper that serves the purpose of both a study group and a junior company. To discuss more and more about cryptocurrency, Blockchain Insper has partnered with five companies which are into cryptocurrency industry. It was established seven months ago by two economics students named Felipe Santos and Juan Perpetuo. The duo said that we created Blockchain Insper to felicitate the entry-level students of cryptocurrency and it is inclined towards innovation which makes it stand at par as a junior company.
Currently, there are 23 members working with Inpser and are divided into different teams to study about the technology, finance and business in order to execute the right marketing, content, events and strategy pertinent to the study performed. We are performing both research and practical activities.
Professors being supportive
One of the Professors, Alan De Genaro supporting the course initiative, said that although students are not heading towards financial market yet they need to understand that which factors are harmful and which are beneficial in regard to cryptocurrency. The professor is also the pioneer of introducing cryptocurrency as one of the derivative units at the university, which was incorporated last year.
