According to the press release on Sunday, American Actor Steven Seagal, along with the Bitcoiin founders leave the project after completion of Initial Coin Offerings (ICO). The press release has revealed the fact that renowned personality Steven Seagal, the brand ambassador of the Bitcoiin2Gen, a cryptocurrency project and its founders are going to leave the organization just after the ICO completion.
The organization shared the expression of gratitude through the document regarding the American Actor, contributors, anonymous founders. They also announce that the move is taken to make the cryptocurrency anonymous.
They wish the Bitcoiin to become same as the original Bitcoin and the open source as they move the conversational phase to the minable from the tokens one. Further, they extended their thanks to brand ambassador wishing him luck in his future endeavors. And they announced that from now onwards the Bitcoiin cryptocurrency will become decentralized with no more control of individuals on it and will fit with others in the crypto ecosystem.
Steven joined the project when there were rumors of this project being associated with MLM Company or Pyramid Scheme. The project was pre-planned to start its pyramid commission scheme of referral program for the stakeholders when the ICO becomes operational. Seagal has faced the criticism regarding this on Twitter. One of the Twitter users commented that assuming Bitcoiin project is not a scam will be “mother of all f*****”.
The Press release made it clear that the commission scheme was valid up to the ICO period and the kind of reward was to promote the project. In order to attempt to compare and sensationalizing the project’s pyramid scheme, the statement reproached to the media again.
The founders will be appointed as the member of the community so that they will be legal owners of Bitcoiin.com website. This action has been taken when tokens are converted into minable coins.
The ICO news came into existence several days after when security division of Tennessee Department of Commerce & Insurance has issued a warning for the consumers about the Bitcoiin2Gen, or Bitcoiin cryptocurrency.
The awkward thing is that the American actor has not commented anything regarding the end of his collaboration with Bitcoiin that will support the authenticity of this ICO. He announced his association somewhere in the mid of January this year even after the warning issued by US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that Endorsement of ICO by celebrities could be illegal. The bitcoin ICO was launched in January with having the goal of raising $75 million and they claimed on the website that they have achieved their goal.
