The difference between pure magnesium oxide and active magnesium oxide was analyzed

The main method for the preparation of active Magnesium Oxide is calcining magnesite in a gas reflection furnace. The calcining technology, process, used coal and production equipment are controlled to keep the temperature within the range of producing active magnesium oxide. The internal structure of the ore is loose and the pores between crystals are the highest. Active magnesium oxide in the field of application as a new high functional fine inorganic material, generally is the aggregation of nano particles, particle size in one to two thousand nanometers, absorbing iodine value in more than one hundred and twenty magnesium oxide, due to its grain fine, thus has different from the ontology of heat, light, electricity, mechanics and chemistry, and special functions.
Both active magnesium oxide and analytical pure magnesium oxide are members of the magnesium oxide family, and the “activity” of both refers to the high specific surface area, that is, the substance per unit mass has a large total surface area, figuratively speaking, it is extremely loose and porous, with strong adsorption capacity and high chemical reaction activity. This is the connection between the two. At the same time as two kinds of magnesium oxide members, they are not only from the name of but also from the preparation process and chemical properties of the application of the field are essentially different.
Analysis of pure chemical pure magnesium oxide refers to the standard of the content of magnesium oxide in the reagent, while active magnesium oxide refers to the microstructure (crystal structure) of the reagent, which makes it have a high specific surface area, strong adsorption and chemical reactivity. These are two different definitions.
Analysis of pure magnesium oxide is generally a very high purity of magnesium oxide, its preparation process is generally a gas phase method, that is, high purity metal magnesium and oxygen reaction to generate crystal nucleus, and then make the particles continue to grow, to produce high purity micro powder magnesium oxide. The crude raw materials containing more than 80% of magnesium oxide are dissolved with inorganic acids (sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and nitric acid) in a ratio of mole ratio to two to make magnesium salt of inorganic acids. High purity magnesium oxide was prepared by purifying and removing impurities, pressurizing and heating under oxygen atmosphere, then washing, dehydration and drying, heating at 1100 deg c for one hour. The analysis of pure magnesium oxide is mainly used in reagent industry and other chemicals or intermediates.
