The FDA recently reminded the public that it is not only disgusting but harmful and toxic as it seems. However, the concern surged just after the warning from the FDA.

The bizarrely timed warning from the agency received a backfire in making the meme more famous than ever. TikTok confirmed just a day before the FDA notice that there were 5 searches for “NyQuil Chicken” in the app. BuzzFeed News reported on 21st September that numbers were boosted at least 1,400 times.

Instagram is Working on Nudity Protection

A researcher Alessandro Paluzzi tweeted that Instagram is supposedly working on Nudity Protection Technology by focusing on unessential DMs. The new technology will probably cover photos that can contain nudity in chat. It will provide users with an option to view them according to their needs.

Meta also confirmed that Instagram is now working on the development of this option. The company said it is designed to support shielding people from nude images or other uninvited messages. Meta said it will not view the images itself or share them with 3rd parties to strengthen protection.
