PM Modi offers prayers at Brahma temple in Rajasthan’s Pushkar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Brahma temple in Pushkar, Rajasthan, on Wednesday to offer his prayers. Additionally, he addressed a rally in Ajmer district, which holds significance as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) completes 9 years in power at the Center. Rajasthan is gearing up for Assembly polls later this year, and the BJP has its sights set on 45 assembly seats within 8 Lok Sabha Constituencies in the state. This marks PM Modi’s sixth visit to Rajasthan in the past eight months.

Rajendra Rathore, the Leader of Opposition, stated that lakhs of people and party workers from the 45 assembly seats and eight Lok Sabha constituencies, including Ajmer and Jaipur, would gather at the rally. This BJP event follows discussions held by the Congress party with Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot in the national capital on Monday night, as they prepare for the upcoming assembly polls.

During his visit, PM Modi launched “Maha Jansampark” by addressing a public meeting in Ajmer, Rajasthan. This initiative, scheduled from May 31 to June 30, involves extensive public programs nationwide, marking the completion of 9 years of the BJP’s rule at the Center. It includes over 51 large rallies, public meetings at more than 500 locations, and over 600 press conferences across 500 Lok Sabha and 4,000 Vidhan Sabha Constituencies. The campaign aims to engage with over 5 lakh distinguished families.

Tarun Chugh, the party’s national general secretary and coordinator for the program, shared details of the largest outreach campaign in BJP’s history. He mentioned that 288 top BJP leaders and 16 lakh party workers would interact with voters at ten lakh booths and 144 clusters, covering all Lok Sabha seats. The goal is to highlight the achievements of the party during its nine years in power at the Center. The campaign also includes meeting 1,000 eminent families per Lok Sabha segment, organizing 51 mega rallies across India, and conducting seminars with teachers, social media influencers, and other influential citizens.

The Enlightened Conference will be organized in all Lok Sabha constituencies with intellectuals. On June 25, the anniversary of Emergency Day, a program will be held that showcases a documentary highlighting how the Congress party allegedly undermined democracy.

From June 20 to June 30, door-to-door public meetings will be conducted, involving leaders, office bearers, workers, Union ministers, and national office bearers. Additionally, a two-wheeler tour will take place across the country, spanning eight days and covering the assemblies. The tour will include Nukkad Sabhas (street corner meetings), sports competitions, and the felicitation of young achievers in the main areas of cities, villages, and mohallas.

Efforts will be made to contact PM Kisan Nidhi Beneficiaries and hold meetings with presidents of various farmer producer organizations. Village Chaupal events will be organized at mandis (marketplaces) with SPO village heads and sarpanches, and Gram Chaupal Gram Sabhas will be held with unorganized laborers.

A Tribal Gaurav Yatra Morcha is also planned, focusing on engaging with Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes beneficiaries across the country. District-level Tribal Gaurav Yatras will be carried out, accompanied by programs honoring figures such as Lord Birsa Munda and involving representatives of Scheduled Tribes.

The campaign will also target beneficiaries from backward classes at the booth level. The program aims to establish direct contact with all 10 lakh booths in the country, connecting with 10 crore people in India.
