Amit Shah to address public rallies in J-K

Amit Shah, Union Home Minister, will visit Jammu and Kashmir from September 30 to October 2, according to BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh.

Shah will be in the Union Territory for the second time since Article 370 was repealed. Following a rise in terrorist assaults in the Valley against members of minority communities, the Home Minister visited Kashmir in October of last year.

Shah will meet with intellectuals and well-known figures during his tour, and on October 1 and 2, he will speak at two public gatherings in Rajouri and another rally in Baramullah, respectively.

“Amit Shah will go to several locations during this trip, which is a significant event similar to a festival because he was instrumental in completing the contentious Articles 370 and 35(a) and releasing the captives from Jammu and Kashmir. After being ignored for 70 years, SCs, women, Gujjars-Bakkarwals, and other communities gained influence “Chugh remarked.

He added that because Rajouri and Baramullah have been ignored for so long, Amit Shah has chosen to travel to them and give speeches at rallies there.

According to Chugh, “BJP has attempted to politically amplify all those who were denied a fair room for 70 years.”

The BJP official added that despite COVID-19 and other challenges, the central government under PM Narendra Modi has always ensured the development of Jammu and Kashmir.

“The Modi government is dedicated to “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas,” and not only Abdullah and the Muftis’ Vikas. Despite challenges like the Covid, the Modi government has consistently assured the growth of Jammu and Kashmir. Airports in Jammu and Kashmir are now overrun by private planes. There is a tonne of tourists in popular tourist destinations like Pahalgam and during holy yatras like Vaishno Mata and Amarnath. Jammu and Kashmir’s “Pani and Jawani” are now used for the region’s development “he added.

According to Chugh, previous administrations had supplied stones to young people in Jammu and Kashmir with the intention of indoctrinating them into terrorism whereas the Modi administration had empowered them to utilise such stones to further their careers.

Amit Shah will be speaking at the Bus Stand Ground in Rajouri, according to BJP leader Ravinder Raina, who also said that people from Rajouri, Poonch, Mendhar, Surakote, Matargote, Rajouri, Thanamandi, Darhal, Budhal, Nowshera, Sunderbani, Kalakote, Dhangri, and other border areas will be able to attend.

People from the North Kashmir districts of Baramullah, Kupwara, and Bandipora, including Gurez, Bandipora, Karnah, Kandhal, Kithwal, Trigam, Uri, Rafiabad, Handwara, and Langate, he claimed, “would join in Amit Shah’s major rallies in Baramullah.”

“The people in border regions were calling for Amit Shah’s rallies, and he positively replied to our plea for both rallies,” Raina continued.

The Home Minister visited the union territory for three days in 2017 for the first time since Article 370 was repealed in August of that year.

His visit coincided with a number of terrorist deaths of civilians in Jammu and Kashmir that have caused dread in the region.
