Hispanic US Tv broadcaster Univision has just got easier to find and all thanks to a hookup with Roku. Univision Now, the subscription-based live and video on demand app of Univision, has expanded its support to Roku streaming devices and integrated Roku TVs. The Univision Now streaming app ill be available on Roku boxes, Roku TVs from TCL, and Roku apps on PS and mobile devices.

Univision Now which sells at $5.99 per month and $49.99 per year following a seven-day trial, will let the users stream the live programming including telenovelas like Pasion y Poder, reality shows, award shows, and UniMas sports content which includes MLS futbol and Liga MX.

Univision Now includes 2000 hours of video on demand content and 72 hours of DVR functionality. Univision Now is also available to pay TV who gets the service from MVPDs that have secured Tv everywhere rights from Univision If you have already got Univision via your cable TV subscription, you can also get all Univision Now content on a Roku device or a smartphone, tablet or PC. Univision says its first among TV broadcasts network for promoting the value of pay-TV subscriptions by granting those subscribers easy access in the same app.

The company notes that it also offers the service through existing apps on Apple TV boxes, Android, iOS devices and web browsers. You can also find some of the Univision content including Liga MX Mexican soccer, free on Facebook of all places as part of a trend that has social network streaming live sports.

TNT and TBS Apps

Two of the cable’s top entertainment networks have made their way to live stream and on-demand content of Roku platform from TBS and TNT. Both these channels are now available on Roku streaming players and Roku Tv models in the US.

Customers who subscribe to TBS or TNT through a participating cable satellite or telco provider can access live east and west streams of the TBS and TNT. It means that you can watch popular TBS shows including Full Frontal with Samantha Bee and CONAN and TNT shows such as the Animal Kingdom and Good Behavior live. Most TV series will be available to subscribers on demand the next day.
