Her insta and blog is a great mixture of style and reading inspiration all mixed into one - So we thought we would give her ol' EE once over interview to see what tick (or should we say flick!)
Hey Kat, thanks for taking the time to talk to us! Firstly tell us something key about you?
I am a children's librarian and my main passion is to make kids (and people in general) feel awesome about what they do, like and look like. No matter if you're thick or thin, an athlete or a nerd or like romance novels or biographies you are an amazing person and you should be proud of yourself. I am from Denmark. I grew up in the North, half the time at the local library and the other half in the woods up there.
We love your style! And we love that EE is part of it, why do you like the brand?
I don't like EE, I LOVE EE! I love it because it's really nerd chick and really beautiful. And well made to boot.
My favourite is the Perfect Alignment necklace which I already have and partly because it's reminds me the Red Rising-trilogy which is amazing but if I were to chose a different favourite it would be the It's about space-time necklace. There's something a little Doctor Who about it, which is my favourite TV show.
We have to ask - tea or coffee?
Coffee! I just love
Coffee, the taste and the boost it gives you, but after a long day or just cozying up under a blanket, I do like a cuppa (cup of tea ;) ). I take my coffee black and my tea white
with sugar btw :)
Party or night in? (do we even need to ask? But you never know!)
Night in with a book, hahah. But I'll take a glass of wine to go with it ;) Actually, I'm a massive introvert so while I do hang out with friends on occasion, I have to recharge my energy with a book :)
How would you describe your style?
Quirky. I'm not really retro, but it's definitely a retro vibe. Quirky and a little nerdy at times :)
Where does the insta name come from?
Actually I saw a retro cartoon with a sexy librarian that said Miss Information and I thought: "Aw, that would be a really cool name for a librarian account...wait I have a librarian account!" - and by some lucky coincidence, it was free!
What is an average Miss Information kind of day?
Getting up early (I don't like to rush), drink some coffee, get ready, commute 1.5h (o.O) and do fun library things all day. Then back home, early supper and in bed/on the sofa with tea and books (or if I am completely honest Netflix or Youtube).
