How An HR Can Decide The Rise And Fall of A Company

HR can be abbreviated as Human Resource. As the designation suggests, HR plays a crucial role in finding the right resources for a company. The employees of a company can be denoted as ‘resource.’

How The HR Decides The Fate of A Company:

The HR holds the foremost authority in making decisions regarding recruiting an Applicant. For instance, even if an applicant has underperformed in the multiple rounds of the interview, if HR decides to hire him, he can do. Thus, an HR should understand his responsibility and bring in the talents that could accelerate a company’s growth. On the other hand, if an HR procrastinates his duties, it will have a significant impact on the companys’ growth.

For instance, if HR receives a job application, he should immediately scrutinize it and take necessary action. If a resume seems to be a perfect fit, he should take the procedures required to schedule the interview as soon as possible. Because applicants send their resumes to many companies at a time. With the availability of many job portals on the internet, people send their resumes to the companies that come on their way. So, if you delay in scheduling the interview, you could lose a potential applicant, and someone will end up choosing him. Hence, an HR should never postpone his duties as it can turn into a massive loss to the company. Even the board of directors of a company validates the decisions of HR without scrutinizing. Hence, an HR should be his own watchman and do justice to the trust that his company administration has in him.

Today, every company is aiming to have a strong digital presence. Hence, HR can also give insights to elevate the reach of a company through platforms. For instance, they can try out SMM panel services if a company tries to establish its online presence.

Why Should An HR Be The Better Communicator?

HR should keep track of the employees’ performance. Thus, he can know the potential of every employee. So, if a person does not perform like the way he usually performs and receives low ratings, HR can get in touch with him and interact to know if he faces any issues. People don’t easily express themselves to someone who is in a higher position. Hence, an HR should communicate in such a manner that he should earn the trust of his employee. Only then the person will open up. HR should make possible efforts to sort out the issue. During these COVID times, people are working in a completely different environment, at their homes. Work from Home is a boon for some people and a bane for others.

Moreover, people are confined within their houses for months due to the lockdown. All these factors might take a toll on the mental health of employees. Hence, HR can suggest exercises and other activities that could provide peace of mind. This will eventually uplift the employees’ productivity. Hence, an HR should be a better communicator over others in a company. Moreover, HR is the only person who acts as the mediator between an employee and the administration. Hence, HR should understand exactly what a person says and convey it to the other end. Else the misinterpretation could also result in adverse effects. Thus, an HR should be a good listener alongside being a good communicator.

Wrapping Up:

HR should be a pillar of strength to his employees. He plays a huge role in coordinating the employees of his company and maintaining a healthy relationship between them. Thus, an HR has huge responsibilities than other employees of a company and should act accordingly.
