5 Team Building Activities You Can Do With Your Business

Teams, when used well, can take your business to a higher level. Despite how strong your team is, it can still benefit from a range of healthy team-building Activities. 1. Play Truths and a Lie

To begin playing this game, have each member of the team write two truths and one lie about themselves on small pieces of paper. They should not let anyone see what they have written. After everyone has written something, given them 10-15 minutes of open conversation; make it look like a cocktail party.

The idea is for someone to convince everyone they are talking to that their lie is the truth while they try to guess other people’s truths and lies. After the conversation session is over, everyone should sit down and read their three statements. Others will vote whether they are truths or lies.

2. Play Life Highlights Game

You will need around 30 minutes to play this game as a team. It is great for small and large groups. The game begins by you asking each member of the team to close their eyes for around one minute and visualize the best moments of their lives. Once that is done, inform them that their search for highlights is almost being narrowed.

With their eyes still closed, ask each of them to think about 30 seconds of their lives they would like to live again if they only had 30 seconds left in this world. The leader will then the team members about the moments they picked and why they chose them. This game helps team members to develop a deeper connection with one another.

3. Coin Logo

Ask each team member to empty their pockets, wallets, and purses of any coins they might have and place them on the table. It is okay to share coins if some people don’t have one. Each person will be given one minute to design a Logo using the coins before them. They can use pens, pencils, and notebooks to design the logo.

It is also okay for people to work on a logo and present it as a group; the groups should not be big ones. They will present their logo and explain to everyone why they choose that logo for the company. This game helps people develop self-awareness. It also works when there is a need to help participants get to know each other.

4. Classification Game

This game can be a fast ice-breaker or rather a complex activity. In this case, it is going to be more of an ice breaker. Split individuals into three to four teams after explain the famous concept of pigeon-holing someone. Let them know that these classifications are unhelpfully judgmental.

In teams, people should discuss their likes and dislikes. After that, it is their job to classify themselves. These subgroups can entail sushi lovers, morning people, night owls, pizza lovers, etc. The game helps people to identify and respect the nature of their workmates.

5. Problem Solving Games

Though you can always take part in virtual team building activities, if you are all available physically, then you can play some games that involve problem-solving. There are lots of problem-solving games that you can play as a team, such as the sneak a peek game.

When playing games related to problem-solving, it should be focused on the nature of your company. Once the game is played, it will help members of the team realize that problem-solving skills can be developed and honed.
