Some are Hungry for spirituality
some are hungry for equality
some are hungry for fertility
some are hungry for love
but sometimes even love isn't enough
because it can't buy you Food and stuff
How are you to sustain your soul
with an empty bowl
for without food you won't survive a week
it makes your body and system weak
Starvation makes you lose your mind
on right and wrong you become blind
so you steal either the Money or food
or become a beggar misunderstood
that is life for millions in the hood
Rich countries get obese
They even throw the food away at ease
when they could save some money and nature
by consumption mature
The West doesn't know fasting
in the East it's everlasting
either because of spiritual hunger volunteer
or because of wars and conflicts near
They even have to thirst
for rain seasons to wet the land first
Here we don't think
how lucky we're tab water to drink
as their own polluted water stinks
They live on poverty's brink
children suffering from malnutrition
receiving food aid from World Vision
Decreasing child mortality as their mission
Egypt agitated because of high grocery prices
and began the Arab Spring with electronic devices
