Alot of factors affects the Color and markings of your Flower Horn. Let me give you some tips on how to enhance the color of your flower horn.

1. I suggest that you change water (1/4 of your tank) 3 times a week.
2. Feeding your flower horn quality food with enhancing color capabilities is a big factor.
3. Stick a small mirror in the side of your tank so that your flower horn will think that you have another fish. The reason for this is it will excite the flowerhorn and their body will excrete a hormone that will be helpful in increasing your flowerhorn's head hump as well as their color.
4. Try to buy vitamins, I use the Vita Angel Drop which is very helpful. It brings out the color and boost your fish's immune system.
5. Preventing disease is a big factor in the growth and developement of your flowerhorn.
