Makes me Dream the words on the page
Whether it be crystal clear lakes
Or a recipe book's smell,
Of burnt butter and sage
I dream the words on the page
A beautiful book
A wonderful dream
The taste of a sandwich
The sound of a scream
I dream the words on the page
The letters fly into my head
And during the process
Change into pictures
Dull as grey
Or bright as red
I'll dream the words on the page
It could really range
From sight to sound
And sound to taste
From taste to touch
And then again
I'll dream the words on the page
